Bedrox invests the Bednar family's capital, balanced across public and private markets, from listed equities and fixed income to real estate, energy and private equity. We deploy only our own capital, on our own horizon. No outside investors, no mandate, no clock.
The capital behind Bedrox was built by its founder, Jan Bednar. He grew ShipMonk, the Fort Lauderdale technology and fulfillment company, from a university project into one of America's largest third-party logistics providers. That success is the foundation of everything Bedrox invests today.

Bedrox invests across public and private markets with one discipline: own good assets and hold them for the long term. Most of our capital works alongside leading managers, as a patient, long-term partner and co-investor, while the rest we build and own directly. Because we answer only to ourselves and our capital is permanent, we commit through cycles and stay long term.

In the Czech Republic and across Europe we develop residential and industrial projects through our own team, and we invest as a joint-venture partner alongside developers building their own. As principal or as capital, we commit for the long term, from our own balance sheet.

Founder
Jan is the founder of Bedrox and the founder and former CEO of ShipMonk, a leading global e-commerce fulfillment provider he launched while studying at Florida Atlantic University. Originally from the Czech Republic, Jan has been named EY U.S. Entrepreneur of the Year and featured in Forbes' 30 Under 30.
